Administrative Assistant

Mentis Group is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented individual to add to our team of superstars as an Administrative Assistant. This position is for an articulate, engaging and reassuring individual with a strong desire to keep our operations running efficiently. Team players, only.

As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), Mentis Group supports the IT environments of multiple companies. The environments can vary in terms of size and complexity. As such, the pace and demands can maintain a high level. While this position does not require technical skills, it does require an understanding of our role within our clients’ organizations and the impact of a well-administered business on our standing with our clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Prefer at least 1 years in a customer service role
  • Proficient on computer (specifically, web-based applications)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal insured automobile

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and create tickets reflective of incoming client requests.
  • Triage incoming tickets to set key fields so that the system can route ticket to the correct department with the correct priority and information.
  • Manage shared inboxes.
  • Coordinate directly with Service Delivery Manager and/or Operations Manager to escalate client and/or system issues.

Other Considerations

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to be 100% available to expeditiously field incoming requests from our clients… this is imperative to the success of Mentis and our clients. As such, we will NOT “fill” your time with other tasks and responsibilities… your expectation is to triage tickets
  • Expected Hours per Week: 25 hours. NOTE: This position is intended to be a part-time position with fixed hours (Monday through Friday, 7AM CT to 12PM CT). All work may be done remotely or in our Dallas office (75 and 635 area). If remote, Mentis will provide workstation and supplement $50 per month for internet service.
